They all grow differently. You should try again. You might get one you love! 🥰 @pelly

My #avacado I planted last Autumn. Keep going @pelly Jane. They grow pretty fast.

My #Avacado is really growing now. I will need to find it a new home soon as it's too big for my window sill.

The leaves look a sort of autumn colour in the photo but they are still the same nice green....just bigger!

I have 2 so far and I gave one away. It's quite easy if you get the cocktail sticks in right and keep it on the window ledge in "soft" sun not direct. Change the water about fortnightly. It took about 3 week to a month for it to show a tiny root. Then it took off. Keep trying.

I just read this, it may never bear fruit if it's seed grown: https://www.willsavocados.com/index.php/grow-avocado-tree

Thank you @brightcolours. I never expected my avacado would grow outside in England, especially in the North East! It is just a bit if fun for me.
