Wow! Yes !!

So...this happened to my tree peony. Again. It's a bit hard to see, but one "clump" of shoots have wilted. Healthy shoots both above and below. #advice please - why is it unhappy? Anything I can do?

I've had this happen too. I cut the branch away. No idea why it did this either!

Rebecca, I did that last year too, guess I'll be doing that again this year. It looks really healthy apart from that portion, so I hope it will be OK. @beckers1974

Quite a contrast between the stiff and prickly holly and the elegant piano fingers of the peony. And I see a bud!!! #foilage

It'll shoot away in no time at all Mona! 😀

There are a lot of shoots this year, and I have pruned some of the neighboring holly for better light conditions, so I have high hopes @bigemrg

I look forward to seeing it covered in blooms! 😀
