Morning GTers, I need your help. Some thing is a bit wrong with my clematis noticed yesterday. One of the stems appears to be wilting. The rest of the plant is perfectly healthy and no black spots on the leaves as you can see. I've checked the stem and can't see or feel any obvious breaks. Should I leave it or cut out that 1 stem. I don't think it is clematis wilt but open to any suggestions. Thanks. #help #clematis-advice

@gailybob Good morning! I'd cut that stem out, as low to the ground as you can. The rest of the plant looks happy, so I think it's just a break somewhere, and they're sometimes hard to see in clematis. Enjoy!😉

Thank you @JeanChapin , I think you're right. Kind of wishful thinking it may sort itself out. 😊😊😊

Definitely a break in the stem found it as soon as I removed it once cut. Fingers crossed we'll get a new shoot 😊😊
