Olea europaea

My lovely brother bought me this for Xmas! I've got a couple of real sunny spots it could end up living in as it tends to like Mediterranean type conditions (although being up in the north east is a far cry from it 😂) but hopefully it will survive xx

I love olive trees! I’ve got 3 now and they all seem fine, and I’m living up north too, so hopefully yours will be fine too 🙂

I live in the north too and my olive tree thrives in a big terracotta pot underplanted with herbs. I can move it to a more sheltered spot in harsh weather and full sun in summer this way 😊💚

What a lovely gift off your brother Nichola,I'm in the north and my olive tree is now around 6ft tall and doing great,we have less chance of them bearing fruit up here but mine had loads of tiny olive's on for the first time in 2017 😁👍

@GardeningNicW86 I have a good little frost free passage too and my herbs seem to survive well, just need to make sure it doesn't form a wind tunnel too 😊
