So far so good Kerry. We did have a tornado warning earlier so we had a few moments of worry. We are getting rolling thunderstorms all night and most of tomorrow. They started before 4 today. I think they said we are getting 45 to 50 mm of rain. Hopefully no hail. It was so humid today. Poor Beth is at the cottage till tomorrow. George leaves for Michigan tomorrow too. Hope the weather is good Sunday for the race. 🤞🤞🤞 @kez001uk

Always surprises me how big these blooms are 😲

They are so heavy too. I tape the stems so they won’t break off from their weight. I learned that after losing a few buds. 🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️ @kez001uk

I have two of those plants but the one has not bloomed since I got it in August. It has a bud now so I may get a flower. It is supposed to be orange. My pink one is blooming well though. 💗 @crabby58

They sure are. I overwinter mine indoors and it comes back beautiful. Here mine blooms three times a year. I have two small ones that are regular hibiscus. You should get at least one. 👍😍 @cowdenkyle

Thanks so much. Shouldn’t be long now. Got it last fall and it was full of buds. When I brought it inside due to the cooler weather all the buds fell off so no flowers. That is why I am especially excited to see it bloom. ❤️😍 @kez001uk

Thanks Sherri. Moved it to a warmer room. It gets so cold in our spare room at night with the door closed. Keeps the cats out. Maybe it will bloom sooner in a warmer area. 👍😍 @sherrisgarden

My daughter brought me a red hibiscus with lots of buds. I do not think it will overwinter well in Ontario. Should I bring it indoors for the winter or cover it outdoors? I would hate to lose it even though it was on clearance. Any thoughts? Thanks 😊

Thanks so much. Will do that. I remember one year our neighbours bought us a Rose of Sharon and they planted one too. We both lost them due to harsh winter. It would be the same with hibiscus 💕😊 @rhohodendronmad
