Olea europaea

My poor Olive has been knocked over by the wind once too many times so is now unceremoniously trussed up .. basically my bad 🤗 pots too small ! Solution pending ......

She and the pot have survived it well surprisingly but it was only a matter of time so a temporary tying in was required til I can re pot her poor thing 🙁 @nessas

I think she’ll hang on now till you repot her 😘👍🏻

Thank Lydia it’s been windy the last couple of days .. the worst is supposed to hit tomorrow but so far so good , at least we haven’t had any more snow. How’s it where you are for your Bay ? @lydiastirling

The waind is getting up and i think we are going to get a batterinv from it. It doent help that i live in a village in the welsh vallys on the side of a v large hill. My garden is very exposed so my poor bay ened up on the ground quite a bit untill i tied it to the mine prop that us the poll of my washing line. I think the wose is going ti hit overnight and the early hours of the morning. 🤞 they both are ok

Sadly no traditional berries in the garden but the Olives are heading towards #red

It was a bit of a bargain I couldn't pass up Sue @susanhumphrey333 hope it will be happy here .. lots of grit and John innes in the pot they hate cold and wet in the winter so drainage very important, thank you it's my morning coffee and after work chill out spot 🙂
