I've been wondering how to tell when the seeds are ready, looking at mine yesterday I could see the change and gently pulled a few off. The seeds themselves answered that question for me. 😁

To me, almost every flower that gets called "blue" is really just grayish purple. It's the biggest trap in flower catalog descriptions. And they heavily photoshop the pictures sometimes too. I'm always wary of anything that is described as blue. But sometimes I like the real color better than what I consider "blue." That ckematis is a good example. It's got layers of color to it, much richer and complex than if it were straight blue.
