@brighton No i watered it the night before 🤔 at least I think I did... i hope I did... as I Googled it and panicked it had a fungus so hacked it back to ground level now 😭😢

Well might do it good. Clematis do like a lot of water anyway...good luck @Kali8

@brighton Flowers before June #montydon 😔 never mind. I can't be a total novice and expect to make no errors it's my first casualty so lessons learnt!

I bet it will be fine, lots of time to recover...I always think that gardening is trial and error anyway, even Monty makes mistakes and admits it lol
