@pelly do you think this is #newgrowth or old things I've maybe not noticed before? There's not a leaf left, it's been outside, totally exposed to the elements. Also, do you have yours in a greenhouse?

It’s new growth Leno. Clematisis are fully hardy, I just mulched mine for winter and they’re all outside. 👍👍

😂😃😄😆 great! I noticed you posted one and it had leaves😅so I went to have a look at mine & thought it was goosed. 2 years I have thrown them out after summer because I thought they were dead after that 😨 then in July I see everyone's are huge and mine are new & miniscule. This is the first one I've left over winter😂 #trialanderror @pelly

Hopefully it will do well then Leno. If you have a look at the RHS site it gives so much information, I use it a lot. It's always worth having a look in the charity shops for gardening books too, you can get some real bargains. 😊😊
