Yummy, yeah I'm still kicking but not on site much. Keep getting sick so no photos to share. And when I can manage to get up I'm so busy playing catch up with chores. Miss everyone, hope to be around more. Have redbud tree seeds to give away. πŸ€—

They are almost all really a good size, Katy. They did a great job holding on during our bad winds too. Only lost a few (meaning the opossums gained πŸ˜‰). @gjones

@purplebird - Michelle! Sorry you have been sick. Even if no πŸ“·, we enjoy you chatting. ❀️ I totally understand that catch up on chores nonsense. What happened to those elves I read about that do things at night for you? Is it only for shoemakers? Thank you for the offer of the seeds. Redbuds are beautiful. I have no room, and I have had to place a moratorium on getting any seeds until I plant what I have, which means cleaning my gardens first. 🀯😣 I shall be πŸ™ for you. πŸ€—β€οΈ

@Flicka be sure to use the @ with user names not the # sign. Was looking to reply to other comments and saw your post. Redbud trees are hardy in zones 4-9 . They bloom in the spring and their seed pods ripen in the fall and often stay on the trees all winter. They are in the pea family. You can eat the young green pods like pea pods. They sprout up all over my yard because I have a few trees. If you want some email your address to me at michelle.rethmeyer@yahoo.com.🌞

Janice, the elves quit visiting my house long ago. Don't know what I did to offend them, but I sure would like them to return. I know what you mean about cleaning beds. My yard is a jungle of overgrowth. One of my sons worked on the front flower beds this fall and I worked in the back some. But our fall was cut short 😭 by cold weather. I missed summer again being sick in bed. Hopefully next year will be better.🌞

Yes, Katy. We have them constantly around. The area around is used to be all fields and now (unfortunately) houses. The opossums, raccoons, skunks and coyotes have remained. They have adapted to us humans. The opossums are not stealth like the others, so we see them often. πŸ’ž @gjones

Oh, Michelle, I too hope your next Summer is better. It seems a lot of the country has gotten a cold snap that is sharp. Well, bless your son for helping you. πŸ€— Maybe the elves are getting ready for a special Christmas. πŸ˜‰πŸ’ž Stay healthy and enjoy the beauty around you. πŸ€—β€οΈ @purplebird
