There it is then for the first time in 10 years this plant is flowering. Feel very proud of myself 😁😊

Congrats Marianne! I've had mine for 3 years and can't get it to flower. What did you do this year?

Can't wait as this plant has not flowered in the 7 years I had it as the gipsy slugs (snails) have always eaten it before it could fully establish. This year I found that my husbands beer has kept them under control so far.

In my experience this plant is extremely vigorous and can outgrow a space very quickly if allowed to

@Justin I had this plant in my garden for about 7 years now and it is never been bigger than this. This year is the first time it has actually two flowers in. It is probably down to where it is (in a shady position) and the snails 🐌 who love the leaves.

Then I'd say you've been very lucky! I inherited one of these when I moved into my current house and it was a monster. Four years later I'm still trying to get rid of it as the root system spreads and if you leave the tiniest bit in throws up new shoots!!

Funny how we all have our 'monsters' in our garden. I have a plant like that, rather than roots it uses seeds. It's absolutely everywhere and can't seem to get rid. @justin
