Clematis

This Wee beauty has been slow to spread, tho it's flowers are massive,tho done little bigger has helped themselves to dinner, few dead leaves in thro plant, have been spraying, but unsure why leaves are turning brown ?? Help 😡

Do you give it plenty of water? Clematis need Lots of water especially if there in a pot or somewhere quite dry they could want a can of water a day

Thanks harebell, it's in a tall pot, I think your correct, maybe not enough watering in the early days of spring , I shall be taking better care from here on ,
