My hippies are just getting their leaves. I had them in a large pot ....decided to plant them in the garden and found the pot riddled with curl grubs. Now something is eating the leaves. I put out some yeast and sugar traps. They caught slugs, millipedes and butchy boys (woodlice). Aint gardening fun !!!

@deekay oh yes it sure does have its ups and downs. A few of mine have been eaten as well either slugs or snails 🐌🐌🔫🔫

@sue1953 I have a peach tree with peaches on and I bet the god forsaken fruit fly will get every one before I do even with all the baits I've left around😭

@sonoferic the fruit fly end up getting my tomatoes after Xmas every year I just make sure I plant extra plants so that I still get a decent yield.

Sue1953 I have bought(haven't got it yet) yellow sticky paper to hand around the yard to hopefully catch some of the buggers. Hope I don't catch to many good ones. Last year they got every single peach. I have waged a war on them

@sonoferic I also hang the yellow sticky paper around and do catch heaps of fruit fly and gnats I was worried at first that I would attract the bees but they are too smart and steer away

Sue1953 I'm not even sure what they look like(fruit fly). Where do you get your sticky paper from. Ordered them on eBay but haven't got them yet
