Accidentally pulled a chunk off the #peony while clearing up... It's got a good few roots on it so I'll pot it up and see if it takes. #accidental-propagation

Very glad I put in #supports for the #peony last year. The storm left it a little bowed but unbroken.

First proper flower on the #peony 😍

Decided to be brave and dig out the tree that was growing behind the #peony and shading it. Hopefully that will encourage more flowers! I also got it an adjustable #support ring to keep it a bit tidier - I hope!

It felt like such a long wait for the #peony to flower (once I figured out what it was!) And now it's in full swing 😄

You too Tara are streets ahead of me. I have so much to do I don't know where to start. The only things that are thriving are the weeds and brambles on the rockery. Bought builders sand today to brush in between narrow rock crevices so if I get this job done that should cut me some slack to get on with the veg.

@bmob don't worry there's still plenty I need to get on top​ of as well! I'm just doing things one at a time and gradually it gets better 😁

Here's the #after picture to go with the #before from the other day. The suspected #peony is pretty extensive! I gave it some mulch after this since it looked a bit exposed... 🤔
