I let all mine go dormant in the basement,temps in the plant room get down to about 40F at times. They lose their foliage but the sprout right back in spring. @gjones

Oh wow!! You must have a very dark green thumb!! I have tried to over winter hibiscus in the house several times and what happens is by the time they leaf back out and look good in the summer it's almost over!! WHAT!? 🤔💘😍

Youre right @ShelleySnyder if u want them bigger faster, bring them out a little earlier to kickstart them. Don't know your zone but I can't safely leave anything outside till first part of June.

I've always kept them in the house because I thought the garage was to cold. We usually can't buy them around here until June, and it just takes forever to come back, so I just buy new ones every year. I'm in zone 8 , it just doesn't seem to work for me to over winter them😟 💘😍
