What a pretty flower. I planted several baby bulbs off my 2 amaryllis last year as an experiment because my zone is iffy for them. So far, they are coming up.

@lesliecole49 can you lift them and store them inside over winter? I did that when I lived in Mi, did not want to take the chance of them not coming back!

I kept the 2 mother bulbs in a pot. I planted the baby bulbs as an experiment, everything I read says I MIGHT get lucky and they'll live. They made it thru a mild winter with lots of mulch, I'm not sure they will bloom this year, but if they thrive, and if they come back next year, then I'll have succeeded @treefrog44

This one is in a container, it was at our old place, I dug it up and brought it when we moved 2 yrs ago, this is the first time it's bloomed! @KariSamuel I'm excited to see the color!
