I’ve read they need to b buried does that mean all the way cyndi gave me an article I thought you might have some tips😊💕

@terrimclaughlin new asparagus plants need planted 4" deep & 1' apart. asparagus is like many bulbs in that it has contractile roots. the roots will pull crown to proper depth. very important to keep weeds out. asparagus beetles lay eggs as soon as spears appear. watch for little larvae on spears & remove. if started from seed plant will start out 1" below surface & pull itself down to where it wants to be
