Asparagus officinalis

This is one of the #asparagus crowns that I planted in 2017. Might get a small harvest from them this year, seems that most if not all have actually survived.

Pulled about a metric ton of #bindweed off the #asparagus today..

The one and only #asparagus crown that's doing ok... Luckily the ones from seed are doing much better!

Weird, I wonder what causes that? @Mikekally I think I'll leave them until next year anyway and see if anything happens...

I bought some crowns... And then I wasn't happy with them so I have some growing from seed also @no_akira

If I recall correctly I got mine in Blackrock @carrotstick - where have you tried?
