How much sun/watering are you giving?

@elexab Only a moderate amount of sun due to living in Scotland and watering sparingly to suit light/heat levels. My other larger avocado tree which is about 6 months old is thriving in the same conditions.

Wonderful! I'm in Seattle so similar conditions. Have you gotten any of your avocado plants to bear fruit?

@elexab Have you attempted to grow one yourself? Not yet, they need to be at least 3 years old before they will bear fruit from seed from my understanding so i have a while to wait yet! Even without fruit they are very pretty trees though!

I'm currently sprouting one from seed but have never grown them before. My seed has one tap root so far

@elexab Thats great! Hopefully you will have a shoot come up soon enough, cant wait to see. If you are starting the seed in water like I did then make sure to change the water regularly. The first attempt I had failed because the stagnant water was harming the roots.
