Peculiar looking specimen is edible Ginger. Picked last week from local grower. Fresh and juicy, I will break some pieces off and plant. Winter is not best time to plant but our Winter rarely drops below 22°C and I will put pieces in pots on warm pavers and hope they sprout. I use ginger every day in cooking, drinks or grated fresh over salads and fruit, so this will be a useful plant for me. #ginger #spice #gyo 🦜 https://www.organicgardener.com.au/blogs/how-grow-organic-ginger
