I've always had a garden. I enjoy a challenge! I love the rewards when it all comes together. And I learn something new nearly every day. Perfect šŸŒ»

Mine is not doing so well as I've been watering it with tap water 😦 I checked the water with my ph meter and it's slightly alkaline but the soil in the pot is more alkaline than the water so I'm not sure what is going on. 😕

To be honest mine doesnā€™t get much attention but itā€™s in a bed not a pot. It gets tap water too when I remember and liquid seaweed feed. @ublaszko

Mine has ph too alkaline so feeding it won't make a difference. 😕 I might just pot it on and get more ericaceous compost.

At last! If this was an animal it would be a tortoise. Talk about taking your time! 4/5 years to flower and then about three months to open from the first buds. Still not complaining -really 😂. The first flower is opening. Looks slightly yellow in colour. Maybe it will look whiter when it all opens. @pelly @ublaszko

It will be well worth the wait though Nicola and now I've got the wait to endure 💚💚

I've resigned myself to waiting 7 years so I would be very happy if mine would flower after 4-5 years 😂 I really hope the flowers will be worth it 😅
