Hydrangea petiolaris syn. Hydrangea anomala subsp. petiolaris

This is my petiolaris Jane. Just checked again, still no sign of a flower. Despite me telling it last year that it would have to go if it didn’t flower this year😂🤷@pelly

Well it certainly looks healthy enough Joan. I had a word with my camellia nobilissima last year, it didn't work, it's had its last chance. Time to try something new now 👍

Have you tried a hard prune to “teach it a lesson”, make it a bit scared for it’s life, and force it to produce flowers to reproduce? It’s meant to be a good one last attempt.
