Will it grow another ginger corm? Or more?

@KariSamuel it will grow and spread by root/rhizome the flowers are not very showy, so this ginger is grown for the edible root. You could pick the flowers and add to salads, but from what I've read it is sterile and won't produce seeds 😉

@gjones I've only seen a few at a time... The cone will turn red, that's how I know it's ready to collect the soap 😊 it gets swishy, and I squeeze the liquid from it, smells really nice

@terrimclaughlin it produced the first cones last year, I got it as a tiny rhizome 5 yrs ago! I had it in a pot for 3 yrs, it grew bigger when I put it in the ground 😉

Well than there’s still hope for mine. There doing good in a lot of sun til about 4. I’m hoping next year I’ll be able to put them in the ground 😊💕
